Rob Silcock
Rob is the Chief Executive Officer of the PBA Group of companies.
Rob has been with PBA since it began in 2009, through to now being part of Unison Networks from 2022. As part of the Unison Group Management Team he leads the un-regulated service business for New Zealand and Australia.
He has been involved in the Electricity Industry for over 30 years, both within New Zealand and overseas. During this time he has held leadership positions including senior roles with multi-national engineering companies.
Vern Beleski
Vern is PBA's New Zealand General Manager.
Vern has over 35 years experience in the High Voltage Electrical Industry. His specialties are management of large contracts; both maintenance and capital projects.
Haydn Murray
Haydn Murray is the General Manager - Operations, leading the Group IT, Finance, and People and Culture teams.
With an extensive background spanning 34 years in the electrical industry, Haydn has gained invaluable experience across various sectors, from industrial and commercial to the High Voltage Industry in recent years. Over the past 15 years, Haydn has held pivotal roles in technical sales and Senior Management, contributing significantly to the growth and success of the organizations he has been a part of. Notably, he has a rich history of working with a global OEM of High Voltage equipment, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. In the last 8 years, Haydn has demonstrated his leadership abilities by successfully managing an Electrical Services business in New Zealand. His hands-on experience and strategic vision make him a valuable asset to our team, ensuring the continued success and development of our operations.
Scott Montagu
Scott Montagu is the Northern Manager.
With over 15 years in the New Zealand high voltage industry, Scott specializes in HV AC systems. His expertise spans Transformer installations, upgrades, refurbishments and relocations, including Current Transformer and Circuit breaker installations. From Project Management and site supervision, Scott's leadership ensures seamless execution and delivery of Projects. He brings extensive experience in project management, maintenance, installations, and commissioning of HV AC equipment. As Northern Manager, Scott plays a vital role in optimizing our North Island operations.
Mike McLay
Mike is the Southern Manager.
Mike has over 25 years experience in the high voltage industry and specialises in general High Voltage equipment requirements including SF6 supply and leak detection. As Southern Manager, Mike plays a vital role in optimising our South Island operations.
Daniel Booker
Daniel is the NZ Transformer Manager.
Daniel has extensive experience throughout the Australasian high voltage industry including the supervision and management of significant long term projects for a range of customers. He is our subject matter expert focusing on the installation, maintenance and repair of transformers and their associated systems.
John Pringle
John is the Technical Manager of PBA.
John has significant experience in the electrical power industry and has extensive experience in both the carrying out and management of projects for the high voltage electricity industry. He is a recognised authority on the management of SF6 assets including emissions accounting, reporting and regulatory compliance.
John Hadjis
John is the Commercial and Business Development Manager.
John has extensive experience within the telecommunications and electrical industries working with some of Australasia’s leading organisations, John brings his well-honed commercial and technical background to PBA and focuses on ensuring our customers' needs are understood and being met.
Steve Evans
Steve is the General Manager of PBA Australia. He has more than 27 years working in different roles within the High Voltage and Transformer industry. Starting his transformer experience in mechanical engineering for both Distribution and Power Transformers, he successfully fulfilled several roles in design, manufacturing, Sales and Marketing, Project Management, and Field Services. Steve started in PBA to head up the Australian business in late 2019 and continues to drive his ethical values and has a passion for working with great people. This has provided him with a broader knowledge of other HV assets and working with SF6 recovery.
Mark Knox
Mark is the General Manager of Magnetic Power Services, and a Director of PBA Australia.
Mark has 20 years experience in Senior Management roles with large organisations spanning Government and Not-for-Profit sectors. A values driven, collaborative leader, he is committed to quality service standards, developing capability in others and building a positive workplace culture, with workplace and employee safety as critical success factors.
